Hawaiian Airlines has recently declared its new daily uninterrupted service between Salt Lake City and Honolulu, Hawaii, for which tickets are currently available for purchase.
Hawaiian will commence operations on the route on May 15 using 189-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. The inaugural flight will depart Honolulu at 6:50 p.m. local time and touch down in Utah at 5:15 a.m. the following day.
The second flight is planned to depart Salt Lake City at 7 a.m. and arrive in Hawaii at 9:55 a.m. The incorporation of the service elevates the Utah city to the sixteenth gateway city for Hawaiians in the continental United States.
The A321neos of the airline will provide complimentary meals, sand-inspired wall panels, signage in the Hawaiian language, and textiles that honor traditional crafts.
The aircraft are outfitted with 128 Economy seats, 45 Extra Comfort premium economy seats, and 16 leather recliners in the Premium Cabin.
Additional overhead storage space, USB sockets, and wireless streaming entertainment will be made available to passengers.
Hawaiian announced earlier this year that weekly service between Hawaii and Japan would resume in the autumn. In March 2024, the carrier will reinstate its initial tri-weekly timetable.
